The essence of MARTINI®Gold is the result of a secret recipe inspired by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and created by the artisans of MARTINI®. It is a new, exciting and rich blend of botanicals have been sourced from around the world to create its unique flavour and essence: sweet-scented bergamot from Calabria, fragrant, deep-scented lemon from the island of Sicily; precious, delicate saffron from Spain; ancient mystical myrrh from Ethiopia; exuberant, awakening ginger from India; and engaging cubeb pepper the “lost spice” from Indonesia.
Designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the packaging and the MARTINI® Gold bottle are the epitome of luxury in the drinks world. The black box is striking for the exclusive presence of the gold Dolce&Gabbana metal plaque which appears together with the famous MARTINI® logo. It encases a modern design bottle made of gold satin glass with contrasting black text.
Gold by Dolce&Gabbana, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the preferred director of popstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga, stars Monica Bellucci and features an unusual cameo performance from Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The commercial was entirely shot on the streets and squares of Rome, in a tribute to Italy and the films of Italian cinema. The star’s identity is shrouded in mystery as she walks the streets of the capital taking in familiar panoramas and views. Monica Bellucci removes her dark sunglasses revealing her identity and stops at a bar below the iconic MARTINI® sign and meets two friends: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana who are seated at a table waiting for her. Monica pulls from her bag the bottle of MARTINI® Gold by Dolce&Gabbana and the three friends celebrate their meeting, singing together a new remix of ‘Quando, quando, quando.’
