Package design news roundup: Seymour Powell, Family and Friends, ButterflyCannon, Dragon Rouge

Here’s the roundup of the latest package designs that we’ve spotted over the past week.

1. London design and innovation company Seymourpowell have developed branding and bottle design for a new whisky brand ‘The Class’ aimed at younger drinkers, for leading Korean alcohol company HiteJinro.

2. Family (and friends) have helped Traidcraft’s flagship retail brand GEOBAR reposition itself for a broader target of consumers looking for healthy, on the go snacks. GEOBAR is the UK’s only range of bars carrying the Fairtrade Mark, with ingredients hand-sourced from all over the world by a team of experienced and pioneering fair trade buyers.

3. Brand design agency ButterflyCannon have developed the branding and packaging for Oriflame Cosmetic’s new premium skin care range, True Perfection. The range is targeted at younger females, which is now seen as a growing opportunity in Oriflame’s portfolio and is in line with the category trend for ‘perfect skin.’

4. Dragon Rouge have designed packaging for Astro Bites, a new child-orientated healthy oat biscuit range. The product is a space-themed range of crunchy oaty mini biscuits, flecked with dried fruit, in colourful little bags sold in 5-pack cartons with bold and catchy design.

Another project recently developed by the agency is an overhaul of the iconic cream cheese Philadelphia, which is launching across Europe over the next few months. The new logo and colour system have been introduced across the Plain, Light and Lightest variants, and also all flavour variants.
