Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc’s Brands package design

El Tesoro Paradiso (pictured), owned by Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc, was awarded a gold medal and named ‘Best Extra Anejo 100% Blue Agave Tequila’ at the 2008 Los Angeles International Wine & Spirit Competition.

The El Tesoro portfolio was also awarded gold medals for its El Tesoro Paradiso Extra Anejo and El Tesoro Aniversario. El Tesoro Anejo, El Tesoro Platinum and El Tesoro Reposado all won silver medals.

This year’s winners were announced at the ‘Wine & Cars Under the Stars’ fund-raising event, which was held on 14 June at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and Thunder Alley at Fairplex in Pomona, California.

“El Tesoro tequila is truly a superior portfolio that has maintained a great reputation worldwide,” said Beam Global President and CEO Tom Flocco. “Its time-honoured traditions have made it one of the world’s last hand-crafted tequilas. Other Beam Global brands that won awards at this year’s competition include Ardmore and Jim Beam. Ardmore Traditional Cask, which was awarded a bronze medal, also won a bronze medal in overall packaging design.
