Mysticbox by Nascent Design

5 September 2008 | By Popsop Team

This gift packaging was designed to convey the excitement and enchantment of receiving presents. It can be used for items of different sizes, which are thus held snugly and protected against impact.

The Mysticbox is built in two pieces like a frame for pictures. Each frame is coated with a silicon skin and the items or presents are positioned between the two skins. When sticking the two frames together, a vacuum is created between the two silicon skins which holds the package together. It consists of a front frame and a back frame.

Last year this project won the Red Dot Design Award in “Packaging category”
