Wine label for wine enthusiasts
Design of letterpress wine label for Shirah brand wine (Conflict of Interest winery, California) belongs to Miller Creative consulting design agency.
No back label, as this was not designed to be sold publicly: it was the first winery bottling of 300 bottles. All details appear on the front label including type of barrels used and other obscure technical details that only wine enthusiasts would most likely appreciate or understand.
Uncoated gray paper was printed with white letterpress ink for a tactile and subtle feel.
The project won 2007 American Graphic Design Award for packaging.
