Fanta teams up with Tesco to give away designer carrier bags
12 May 2009 | By Popsop Team
Fanta has joined with Tesco and British designers Antoni & Alison to create a re-usable bag made out of recycled plastic bottles.
The bag will be given away free with the purchase of two, 2-litre bottles of Fanta or Fanta Fruit Twist while stocks last at Tesco. The campaign launches on 20 May ahead of National Recycle Week.
The bag folds into a small pouch and features designs by Antoni & Alison that are typical of the duo’s signature designs.
The in-store activity will be supported by a press campaign. Musician VV Brown will also be involved with the promotion.
Coca-Cola Great Britain, which owns the Fanta brand, is aiming to use 25% recycled plastic in all of its plastic bottles throughout Europe by 2010.
