Tango launches humorous ad campaign for ‘Tango Added Tango’ new pack

UK-based producer and distributor of soft drinks Britvic has launched a humorous campaign to support the limited-edition ‘Tango Added Tango’ – the new 440ml can Tango.
On each can there is a voice-activated freephone number. This IVR gives consumers humorous advice on any side effects they might be suffering from after drinking Tango. As a reward for the call they will have a chance of entering a draw to win prizes including a Sony PlayStation, Sennheiser headphones, a Cannondale Bad Boy 2009 hybrid bike and a Sony iPod docking hifi system.
The campaign consists print advertising, PR, and online and social media, which has been created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty. POS materials feature funny strap lines like: ‘Too much Tango makes you hair turn ginger, yes even those ones!’ and ‘Too much Tango makes your guffs smell of oranges’.
