Marlborough Sun wines: the fresh approach

The Australian design agency The Creative Method was awarded last week with The Best Packaging Award at the national design festival Create Awards 2009 for their new work – Marlborough Sun wines identity.

The designers were tasked to create a new design for a wine from scratch, including naming, identity and label design. The identity had to highlight its Marlborough origin, needed to standout on shelf, have a sense of humour and create a talking point.

The newspaper style (which echoes The Sun newspaper, probably) was a good solution to achieve the goals.
