Kent promotional packaging recieves iF Communication Design Award

Burgopak Germany was awarded for an innovative Kent packaging at this year’s iF Communication Design Award for Packaging 2009. This promotional cigarettes pack was designed for BAT Hamburg and aimed to promote the brand on the Austrian market.

The packaging can be easily opened with one hand due to the smart sliding mechanisms: as soon as you open the lid, cigarettes of various flavours appear at the top of the pack. Simultaneously, a booklet is released on the opposite end, connected through the pack by an invisible magnet. Closing the lid they get retracted, reforming the compact packet.

This iF design awards is not the first for Burgopak. The company’s innovative pharmaceutical pack design for the PocketPak™ line won the iF Packaging Design Award 2008.
