Rock & Roll from Absolut, Danny Clinch and Wolfmother

As we wrote previously, an iconic vodka brand Absolut has launched a limited ‘rock’ edition  – Absolut Vodka Rock, wrapped in a leather with studs. Now it has been presented in 80 internatioanl markets all around the world.

To commemorate the launch, Absolut collaborated with the American photographer Danny Clinch and the Australian hard-rock band Wolfmother. During a couple of days Danny followed Wolfmother and shooted more than 4000 photos of the rockers performance. In addition, Danny produced an exclusive director’s cut film, presenting his vision of rock & roll music and lifestyle.

The coolest part of this initiative is that Absolut basically asked us to do what we normally do. Wolfmother were recording and performing, and I captured this with my camera. Absolut has always been at the forefront of artist collaborations and it really is amazing when no one has to compromise on ones art when doing a great advertising campaign,” – said Danny Clinch.

The Absolut Vodka Rock Edition launch campaign was developed by TBWA, Family Business, Great Works and Jung.
