Partership between Mars and Football Association of England

The Footbal Association (FA) of England has unveiled details of its sponsorship deal with Mars. By the terms of the 5-year agreement, the international confectionary brand becomes an “official supporter and official supplier” of the English national team.

Mars will also become an official confectionary partner for Wembley Stadium from August 2010 to July 2014.

In addition, the company will take part in the “Get in Football” campaign for recruting “lapsed” football players over the age 18.

Earlier FA inked an extended deal with another well-known brand – the beer company Carlsberg.
