Know-how in Vodka Branding: Full-Body Shrink Labels

Despite the conventional approach to vodka branding, which expects the clear glass or etched bottle as a standard, some risky businessmen are not afraid of risks. Carlos Guillem from Texas, the man behind the DeLos Vodka, is one of them.

Having refused to use cliches, he tried a new format of packaging – glass vodka bottles decorated with a full-body shrink label. It’s main feature – deep dark black color which makes it so distinctive.

There are several volumes available: 50-mL, 750-mL and 1.75-L. The sleeves are produced from Eastman’s Embrace LV copolyester film while committ sustainability goals.

“Next to all of the clear glass bottles, we really wanted our packaging to pop on the shelf,”
Guillem says. “The full-body shrink label enabled us to deliver that impact while still giving us the flexibility to create promotional packages and launch new flavors.”
