The global beer brand Stella Artois continues its retro-style Stella Artois Recyclage De Luxe campaign with an online film festival of classical French films of the 60-s at The Auteurs web-site. The aim of the campaign is to show the brand’s concern about recycling issues in a very uncommon way — with the help of ‘old’ black-and-white TV-show, focusing on the ecological problems in different ways.
The upcoming festival will last for a week. From December 15 through 22, The Auteurs and Stella Artois will be showing French films for free to UK viewers older than 18 — 7 movies in 7 days.
The nostalgic mood will be provided by the great works by French directors Jacques Demy, François Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Chris Marker, and Alain Resnais.

Today they’ve got Truffaut’s wonderful classic ‘The 400 Blows’ which features one of the best performances I’ve ever seen from a child actor.
If you’re interested (and this is certainly one of the best ‘nouvelle vague’ films I’m seen), you can watch it until the end of today @ http://www.theauteurs.com/stellaartois
