Beyoncé Knowles’s Introduces Her First Fragrance ‘Heat’
21 December 2009 | By Anna Rudenko
Beyoncé Knowles is launching her first perfume ever. The R’n'B-star’s fragrance is called ‘Heat‘, to show that it really has some fire in it. The bottle’s design is a mixture of antique and modern trends, with a red bottom and a yellow top. The scent will be available across the USA in February, and is going to be on sale in Europe starting in August.
The fragrance will have a mixture of top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach blended with a heart of honeysuckle, almond and musk. On the skin the toilet water leaves the drydown scent of giant sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber. The singer decided to call her first aromatic product ‘Heat’ because lots of her performances involve fireworks. The advertising campaign will have TV-spots and prints with Knowles sliding in a sexy silk dress.
“My fragrance is a unique expression of a woman’s powerful sensuality,” notes Beyoncé Knowles. “The scent thrills and enthralls, drawing you in. At the same time, it is elegant and feminine with an air of mystery. I created this fragrance for self-assured women everywhere, for women who are not afraid to desire and to be desired.”
