Hendrick’s Won WineStar Awards
Hendrick’s was selected as the “Distiller of the Year” at The WineStar Awards 2009 . In course of decades jin was out of the spirits top-list despite a relatively low price. Hendrick’s changed the situation, making the drink one of the best-sellers in the premium alcohol sector.
Scotland is a world-known producer of whiskey. The gin varieties appeared on the market not long time ago, and the drink had been ignored by the consumes for many years before it managed to get out of the oblivion. The Hendrick’s gin, which is manufactured by William Grant & Sons (a maker of globally recognized malted whiskey Glenfiddich and The Balvenie) contributed a lot in raising the good reputation of the new drink and making it a really welcomed product.
The Hendrick’s gin’s authenticity is based on a combination of two components — a fresh cucumber extract and the Bulgarian rose oil. The mix of these two delicate aromas drove the Hendrick’s gin on the top of the drinks list and creates its unique ‘floral’ charisma. The Hendrick’s gin is made in small quantities of 450 litters at a time, and this enables the blender specialist to control the process as carefully as possible.
The gin of this brand has proved that Scotland is good not only at delivering first-class whiskey, but know how to produce perfect gin as well.
