Within the live experiment designs shall be developed that provide fun and provoke thinking, also they are all imaginary. Since February 10th the project has been launched online at www.designlabor25-25.de. The designer and other parties of the project write about trends, aspects and chances of packaging and design. Personal experiences and details to new concepts, tweets as well as updates from Facebook are bunched on the blog. Also stickers of blank white package shapes are available to download. These stickers are an invitation to everybody to take a pencil and create their own packaging design. The results can be uploaded on our blog or flickr and will be presented in the online gallery.

Initiator and main sponsor of the project is The Brand Union Hamburg. Inspiration and support for the live experiment provide the Trendbüro Hamburg. The Consultancy for Social Change has defined four trends, which are used by the designers as further inspiration. The very names of the trends sound quite creative and inspiring: Green Karma, Retro Ethnics, 5-Senses Branding and Identity Management. Aside from the trends every designer follows of course his own visions and is free in the progress of the designing.
