L’Oreal and Armani intensify the Diamonds experience

L’Oreal Produits de Luxe International has extended its Emporio Armani Diamonds franchise with a new feminine fragrance, called Emporio Armani Diamonds Intense.

It is already available within European travel retail, and will be rolled out to Asia in March 2009.

Like its predecessor, Emporio Armani Diamonds, which was launched last year, the new scent will be fronted by US superstar Beyonce Knowles.

The Intense juice reinterprets the original edp with notes of Bulgarian Rose Absolute, raspberry nectar, patchouli and Bourbon Vanilla. The faceted flacon also echoes that of its predecessor, but this time shimmers with a golden glow, designed to represent a rare yellow diamond.

To support the launch, a new advertising visual has been shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. It features Knowles, clad in an Armani Prive dress, displaying the yellow diamond bottle like a trophy. The tag-line is “Can you resist?”.
