Kahlua bails out the office holiday party

In a holiday season where bows and ribbons have been replaced with bailouts and rescues, American businesses are reconsidering an honored tradition: the office holiday party.

A recent survey showed that the growing concern over the economy has forced roughly one-fifth of companies to trim the holiday festivities. Kahlua is determined to save the holiday party by awarding five small businesses around the country a bailout grant to keep the spirit of the season alive.

Beginning yesterday, eligible individuals from companies that were forced to cancel their holiday party can apply for a $10,000 bailout grant from Kahlua to be used towards throwing their seasonal celebration. Winners will also receive a Kahlua “Party in a Box” with items needed for a memorable holiday party.

Additionally, a Kahlua recipe will be created for each winning entry, inspired by its corporate culture, along with the option of party planning assistance.
