Fashion house sues in dispute over vampire-movie perfume

20 January 2009 | By Popsop Team

Fashion house Nina Ricci is suing the manufacturer of a perfume released to promote vampire film Twilight for allegedly copying the design of its bottle.

The Twilight Forbidden Fruit perfume is sold in a red apple-shaped bottle with silver leaves and a silver lid, which Nina Ricci claimed was virtually identical to bottles for its Nina fragrance (right).

Nina Ricci and the film’s makers Summit Entertainment were unavailable to comment at the time of going to press.
