Baker design agency from Minnesota has won 2008 Graphic American Design Award for Cheerios snacks packaging.
The designers were tasked to leverage Cheerios brand assets in a memorable and contemporary way, while aligning with Target store’s “high style” visuals. The result was simple, clean and breakthrough limited edition carton design.
Inspired by simplicity of Cheerios, Baker created mnemonic cereal shapes and activated them in an elegant gold foil stamp.
This limited edition Cheerios package surpassed sales forecasts by selling out in three weeks.
