Choxie chocolate line wins award for Burgopak

Chicago design agency Burgopak has won the American Package Design Award for their inventive packaging of Target’s exclusive artisan chocolate line, Choxie.
Competing against over 1,200 other entries from Fortune 500 companies and universities alike, Burgopak earned the top honors in the Structural Innovation category for their intelligent packaging of the Choxie Signature holiday line of premium chocolates.
The patented sliding packaging produced using soy-based inks and fully recyclable finishes offers a compact structure, reduces material content and corresponding transport costs and environmental impact.
The eye-catching holiday packages held Choxie’s artisan confectioneries as well as a GiftCard display.
