YouTube, the video-sharing service which plays a tremendous role as a news source around the globe, has launched a new ‘Blur Faces’ option, a valuable tool which will help secure anonymity when posting footage. The new feature, which launched yesterday, July 18, will help protect personal privacy in YouTube videos, ranging from reports of street protests to some personal footage.

Microsoft has introduced its Office 15, which will complement the new redesigned Windows 8 later this year. The necessary for all Win users suite also has a  sleek Metro look and designed to make life and work easier. The updated suite includes Word 2013, InfoPath Designer 2013, Publisher 2013, OneNote 2013, InfoPath Filler 2013, Excel 2013, Outlook 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Lync 2013, and Access 2013. 

To support its eco-friendly 100% electric Leaf car model, Nissan has rolled out an original project. The automaker gave ten Leafs to Battersea-based Climate Cars drivers to offer London and Amsterdam citizens a chip—each mile in a Nissan Leaf costs only 1.75p in electricity consumed—taxi service over a weekend. Nissan Leaf is six times cheaper to drive as taxi service and has zero-emission.

The GE company, one of the London 2012 sponsors, has demonstrated its involvement into the upcoming Olympic Games and Paralympic Games by unveiling an interactive map featuring an overview of venues, to which the energy and technology giant has contributed. The new website uses Microsoft’s Bing platform and features a plethora of locations with short description about each of them.
