This alternative to traditional cork closures features superior aesthetics, good oxygen barrier, and an integral tamper-evident tear band.

It has good consumer appeal, company says, because it is easy-to-open and reseal, and the design stands out on retail shelves. It is available in a range of colors and can be printed or de-bossed to add further brand identity. An agreement between Portola and ZORK gives Portola exclusive rights to manufacture and market the closure within North America.
