Pernod Ricard unveils The Glenlivet XXV in US

Pernod Ricard has unveiled an addition to The Glenlivet portfolio in the US.

The company’s US unit said late last week that The Glenlivet XXV represents the oldest permanent release in the brand’s range, and will be available in the country in a limited quantity.

The new offering is made from hand-selected vintage that has been finished in first-fill Sherry casks for at least two years before bottling.

“The Glenlivet XXV represents the ultimate expression of the quality, heritage and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of The Glenlivet,” said Ron Zussman, marketing director for The Glenlivet at Pernod Ricard USA. “We know The Glenlivet loyalists and single malt aficionados will be astounded by this amazingly smooth and intensely flavoured single malt from the world’s best selling single malt whisky brand.”

With a suggested retail price of $350, The Glenlivet XXV will be available in the US from this Autumn, with each bottle batch numbered. The single malt will be packaged in a wooden box accented with limestone and brushed steel.
