McDonald’s is going to treat U.S. kids with books along with its traditional food in Happy Meal packs from November 1-14. For the literacy-boosting promotion, the fast food giant has self-published four children books featuring cute brand’s characters—no Hamburglar or Ronald McDonald are included. The books will replace traditional toys that usually go together with the Happy Meal boxes.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut is launching a new commercial as part of the brand’s revived campaign under the “The trouble is they taste too good” tagline. A new “Aliens” commercial, which promotes Kellogg’s new variant, Crunchy Nut Granola, demonstrates that the passion towards the product can be even stronger than curiosity. The spot debuts on national UK television today, March 18, and will roll out to cinemas in early May.

One of most impressive events at CES 2013 was Samsung’s creative and innovative presentation of the company’s content sharing solution AllShare. To demonstrate the possibilities of the technology, which allows users “to wirelessly and seamlessly stream video, photo and music across all Samsung smart devices,” the brand used the most effective approach, the video performance created using the AllShare service.
