Prada is narrating the story of the latest version of its signature perfume, Candy Florale, using a graphic visual approach. The fashion giant has launched a dedicated micro-site where it shares a detailed insight into the scent. In addition to information about traditional elements like ad visuals, scent description, bottle design, and more Prada revealed Prada Candy Florale comic book.

Continuing on the trend of tapping celebrated filmmakers for its commercials, Prada has collaborated with directors Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola to develop a series of vignettes to support the launch of its latest perfume, Prada Candy L’eau. The new campaign will be unveiled in three stages. The first three short 12-second clips have been just released and can be viewed below, three longer teaser spots are to follow later, each once a week, and then the final full-length commercial will arrive.

A range of styles from the Prada fashion house and its Miu Miu brand influence the collection of dresses for the long-awaited Baz Luhrmann‘s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, which is to be released in May. Miuccia Prada has unveiled a series of sketches for over 40 looks for the movie, which were developed by the Italian fashion label and costume designer Catherine Martin. According to Vogue, each of the sketches is “inspired by the creations of Miuccia Prada from the archives of the last 20 years.”

The fashion giant Prada has recently teamed up with artist and designer Vahram Muratyan to create an unparallel presentation of the new items of the brand’s latest collection. The fashion house unveiled a series of animated pictures by Muratyan, in which accessories got integrated into the everyday environment in a totally unexpected way. The ‘Parallel Universes’ experience has been taken to the official Prada website, where images can be views and shared via social media by clicking on the buttons.

The Cannes Films Festival is a huge event for both cinema world and the world of consumer brands, which is proved by numerous festival-related campaigns, brand promotions and long-time sponsorships. Some brands do not only launch campaigns and products dedicated to the event, but also tap recognized filmmakers to create short films to be showed at the festival. This year, Prada teamed up with notorious film director Roman Polanski to shoot a short film/commercial starring starting Helena Bonham Carter and Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival last week.
