Pepsi has one again tapped one of the biggest Bollywood stars, Priyanka Chopra, as its ambassadress. The brand already collaborated with the Indian A-lister four years ago (the deal was closed because of some endorsement fee issues), and now welcomes the celebrity again. Chopra joins a roster of well-recognized Indian faces including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina as well as Ranbir Kapoor, who co-star with Priyanka in the latest Bollywood comedy Barfi!.

Nestlé has announced it will continue participating in the ‘Science Express’ initiative to educate Indian students about climate change. The train has already started touring exhibition from Delhi and will travel through more than 50 Indian cities giving more than 1.5 million young people the chance to get to know about the impact and challenges of global climate change.

Intel Corporation has unveiled its first smartphone with Intel inside. Though it was announced earlier this year that the first Intel-based smartphone will be produced by Lenovo and Motorola for Chinese market, it turned out to be different. The tech giant has partnered with Lava International Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing mobile handset companies, to launch the XOLO X900 Android-based smartphone. 

PepsiCo is about to introduce the third installment of its digital incubator program PepsiCo10, which provides aspiring digital technology start-ups with a chance to work with the food and beverage giant’s brands. This was announced at What If? Unconference, hosted by PepsiCo at U.S. South by Southwest (SXSW) 2012, a digital, music and film festival, which unites the digital innovation leaders in the industries and often serves as a platform for launching new activities on a national stage.

Royal Stag, the largest brand by volume for Pernod Ricard globally, is also the valuable spirits brand in India considering net sales and profit. To consolidate the brand’s position and enhance brand power in the country, the alcohol giant introduced Royal Stag Barrel Select, locally produced premium edition of the whisky between the deluxe and premium segments on Indian market.
