On May 06 Lynx introduced a real time social hub app allowing multiple users to post messages, photos and videos of their nights out to help them do what was previously deemed almost impossible—remember what happened yesterday night when the morning comes. So far only partygoers in the United Kingdom have this opportunity as it was only a soft launch. In three weeks, according to the brand, this software will be made available to general public using the existing social media outlets owned by the brand, such as the Lynx Facebook page, Youtube channel and the Lynx Effects website.

McDonald’s is working on its Fiesta Tour: a tour across the U.S. in course of which it will bring several private concerts of Latin popstar PeeWee to three deserving schools that have shown outstanding academic performance during last academic year.

Peewee has joined the brand in an effort to demonstrate his support for the students and encourage them to study further and aim for higher education. The performer will sing a set of his best songs, talk to students about their dreams, goals and aspirations and will answer questions the students would like to ask.

One of the boldest youth targeted filmmaking initiatives launched last year, the Sprite Refreshing Films Program, is approaching the finish line. The soft drink brand is proud to present six films created by the finalists of the project and is encouraging Americans to visit the dedicated hub and vote for their favourite short movie by sending text messages—the team behind the winning work will head to a major film festival this summer where their movie will be screened.

Heineken USA is expanding its longstanding partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival by establishing the Heineken Voces Grant in support of American Latino filmmakers. Heineken Voces is a grant under the Tribeca Film Institute Latin American Media Fund, that will carry the mission of encouraging Hispanic filmmakers to redefine, invent, explore and create visions and stories that reflect their diverse cultures. The grant will further the fund’s reach by supporting specifically American Latinos, not only Latin America-based talent.

Laundry that gets done in an instant with no noise and with total ecological compatibility while hanging in the wardrobe in a kind of clothes bag—it could all come true with a detergent of the future called Persilan Oxygen. At least, that is the idea put forward by Anna Szarecka and Anna Szpot of Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. The two students made a powerful case with their innovative concept for a Henkel product for the year 2050, winning the Henkel Innovation Challenge in the process. And they can be proud of their feat for, having come out top in the international final of this student competition in Berlin, they have seen off some of the best teams the world has to offer.

America has voted and now 12 young artists will have their artwork reproduced on millions of Heinz Ketchup packets as the winners in the fifth annual Heinz® Ketchup Creativity™ Contest. Pop artist Burton Morris and a panel of judges identified 36 finalists from the more than 26,000 entries from students who poured on their enthusiasm and creativity for America’s Favorite Ketchup.
