Nike celebrates speed and dexterity via its latest campaign dedicated to the new SuperFly boot. The previous model, Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II, was presented back in February 2010 and appeared on-counter in April last year. Now, the brand is going to release Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III (it will arrive in stores starting this Thursday), and for the launch it tapped 16 top professional football players including Cristiano Ronaldo (who appeared in promotion for the previous models), Clint Dempsey, Marco Borriello, Zlatan Ibrahimović and more. The campaign entitled ‘Who Is Superfly?’ is running on Facebook and features a series of short vignettes showcasing the athletes.

So, three weeks later we have another unexpected news to report: the food giant shoots TV ads based on the user Tweets posted in course of the Mac & Jinx campaign.
The story of close relationship between brands and cinematography started nearly at the same time as the cinema itself was born—in the beginning of the movie era, the big companies promoted their products though short clips which were screened before movies. Now it’s not that easy to tell for sure for which product the pioneer ad was created, but according to a range of sources (IMDB is one of them), the first filmed advertising for a today’s global brand was shot for Dewar’s Scotch Whisky (1897). Today, connections between filmmaking industry and brands go beyond this simple presence and include a lot of examples such as much discussed product placement, festival sponsorship and opening cinema clubs, cinema-related advertising campaigns, collaboration with filmmakers on commercials, and creating movies under brands’ supervision.
The Cube is the title of a new promotional project commissioned by Electrolux and performed by Park Associati. A new movable restaurant will “crown» the highest peaks and most notable buildings of Europe. Starting from April 1st, this wonder of modern-day architecture and promotion is going on tour, during which it will visit and sit on top of the most renowned mountains and buildings of Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Sweden. The first location it will make an appearance is Brussels, Parc du Cinquantenaire where the Cube will appear on top of the arc.
