BrandOpus have created a new brand identity and packaging design for Pipers Crisps Co. The Lincolnshire based company approached BrandOpus looking to reinforce the perception of Pipers as the tastiest crisp brand in Britain by discovering what makes the brand unique, allowing Pipers to own the ‘out of home’ crisp market. Pipers pride themselves on the artisan, handmade crisps that they have been supplying the most discerning outlets with for the past eight years. Pipers wanted to underline their passion for making crisps, and tasked BrandOpus to develop a bold and assertive identity and pack design which reflects the honest, straightforward ideals of the company.
BrandOpus have brought a dash of the Far East to the Twinings portfolio, delving into the Orient to create striking new designs for the iconic British tea manufacturer’s range of Green Teas. The agency were appointed by Twinings to enhance the brands leadership position in the Green Tea category through a range of more confident and modern designs.
BrandOpus have redesigned the packaging for Barefoot SOS, launching into stores now. BrandOpus were appointed to redesign the 12 product range for Barefoot Botanicals, which was founded in 1997 by homeopathic practitioners Jonathan Stallick and Hilery Dorrian. With the natural products sector becoming crowded, BrandOpus were briefed to sharpen the message create a pack design that demonstrates the efficacy and reflects of the quality of the product, shifting consumer perceptions of Barefoot SOS from niche beauty brand, to skincare range with a wider audience reach.
In the wake of National Chocolate Week, BrandOpus are proud to be involved with a roll out of very exciting Choc on Choc NPD. The two new products, Our Choc on Choc House and Choc on Choc Painting Kit, are designed to make enjoying delicious Choc on Choc a even more creative experience. With the same gifting appeal as the core range, Our Choc on Choc House and the Choc on Choc Painting Kit extend the brand appeal beyond adult fans to children too.
BrandOpus continues its partnership with independent UK brewer and pub owner Hall & Woodhouse, with the redesign of the full range of Badger ales. Following on from a pitch won by BrandOpus in October 2010, and the success of Hopping Hare launched in March, the wider range of nine ales will hit the shelves in mid-August.
Strategic design agency, BrandOpus, has expanded its management team with the appointment of Ken Hommel and Leo Hadden as associated partners. Ken joined BrandOpus as finance director in 2008, and brings 31 years’ design and advertising agency experience to the management team, having previously worked with London agencies Lewis Moberly, Amacom and Conran Design Group.
