Heineken, which launched its hilarious Open Your World campaign in December 2010 with the ‘The Entrance’ spot, is now coming up with a new stunning video, the long-awaited second spot of the campaign. The film, which premiered on YouTube yesterday, May 25, is called ‘The Date’ and features a couple which is walking through a huge Chinese restaurant, packed with musicians, guests, chefs, beautiful ladies and gentlemen and a magician with a rabbit.

Heineken is pleased to announce that they will be continuing their tradition of offering discoverable music experiences to their consumers, by expanding their annual summer music program. Heineken Red Star Access, which is the successor to Heineken’s popular music programs of the past, Red Star Soul and Inspire, will kick off on June 9 with an exclusive Kanye West presents G.O.O.D. Music event in New York City.

Heineken USA is expanding its longstanding partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival by establishing the Heineken Voces Grant in support of American Latino filmmakers. Heineken Voces is a grant under the Tribeca Film Institute Latin American Media Fund, that will carry the mission of encouraging Hispanic filmmakers to redefine, invent, explore and create visions and stories that reflect their diverse cultures. The grant will further the fund’s reach by supporting specifically American Latinos, not only Latin America-based talent.

Heineken revealed plans for a new design program, termed the ‘open design explorations,’ that will create vibrant new concepts for bars, clubs and social spaces. The first project in the program will launch in June 2011 and will invite emerging design talent from around the world to envisage and create a pioneering ‘pop up club’ that will be unveiled in Milan to coincide with Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2012.

For over 13 years London-based RPM agency has worked with cider brand Strongbow on their festival activation to create the Strongbow Bowtime Bar that represents a uniquely structured dance arena inviting consumers in to relax in the secret garden, dance on the spacious dance floor and enjoy a pint of Strongbow from the multiple bars provided. RPM has been working alongside talent booking agency OurKidBrother who programme the live stage to create live entertainment that works around the clock during the festival.
