Beginning of 2011 turns out to be a hot time for Hennessy. This luxury cognac brand celebrates the start of the new year by launching two limited edition products.

It’s become a tradition for Hennessy to present XO limited edition at the beginning of each year since 2007. So, the fourth addition to the XO collection is called Odyssey XO. This is a unique blend created especially for this occasion, not just a classic Hennessy XO taste in a designer bottle. As for the bottle design, it was created by a multi-disciplinary artist and designer Arik Levy who took inspiration from the rock formations which represent one of the basic objects in his work.

Hennessy will bring cities around the U.S. a truly unique experience that blends the world’s best music, culture and art through Hennessy Artistry 2010. Hosted exclusively by Hennessy, the five-city, invite-only tour will be co-curated by Grammy Award-winning group, The Roots and multi-faceted artist, producer, singer, and actor Q-Tip. Making stops in Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Detroit, and New York City, each show will feature special emcees and musical guests and friends of the curators.

Hennessy announces a limited edition bottle in tribute to the 200th anniversary of the independence of Mexico. Elegantly presented, each bottle is individually-numbered and packaged in a collectible gift box wrapped with vintage art showcasing Hennessy’s proud legacy in Mexico. Both the bottle and box distinctively feature the official «Mexico 2010» seal.

Hennessy had its first-ever Hennessy Black DJ Mixmasters program at the 2010 Winter Music Conference, the largest music industry gathering in the world. Hennessy Black has selected eight DJs from across the country to combine their versatile styles with the Hennessy Black lifestyle of fun and distinctive flair to bring ‘Done Different’ experiences to the hottest clubs in the biggest party cities nationwide.

Hennessy is going to stir up the alcohol market in Ireland, one of its top five consuming countries, with a new advertizing campaign, developed together with Belfast-born fashion photographer Atton Conrad. The campaign will be launched specifically for the Irish market this month, but there are plans to find new customers across the world with the help of the devised promo materials in future.
