Apple has introduced its new iPad, the third generation device that features an ultra bright Retina display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and Wi-Fi + 4G that allow connection globally through AT&T’s and Verizon’s 4G LTE networks. The iconic tablet proves the expectations and boasts of a 5 megapixel iSight camera with upgraded optics and 1080p HD video. iPad 3 functions 10 hour without recharging.

Since 2007, every year in late March the world celebrates WWF’s Earth Hour with a global voluntary environmental action of switching off the lights. As part of this year’s Earth Hour global celebration slated for March 31 (8.30pm–9.30pm) people all around the globe are invited to participate in a new activity, the ‘I Will If You Will’ activity, which encourages them to make commitments and promise to do something unusual if the others will pledge to take ‘green’ actions’ to save. The new platform, created in partnership with Leo Burnett and launched at youtube.com/earthhour, is open for everyone who wishes to inspire their friends, family and just people around to set personal sustainability goals.

Nike continues its football initiative together with Pep Guardiola, global ambassador for The Chance and FC Barcelona Manager. ‘The Chance’ 2012 project that they have launched together searches for football talent and gives young amateur footballers an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities on an elite stage. Since the program launch in 2010, thousands of footballers could take a chance to work on a global level.

Apple, Google and Amazon are the leaders of the World’s Most Admired Companies 2012 chart, unveiled as result of the new survey conducted by the Fortune trade publication and the Hay Group consultancy—a total of 698 companies from 32 countries were included. The companies, which top most of lists of the most successful businesses, are followed by Coca-Cola, IBM, FedEx, Berkshire Hathaway, Starbucks, Procter & Gamble and Southwest Airlines correspondingly. The first two leaders hold their positions for several consecutive years—for instance, Apple heads the chart for the fifth year in a row, Google was the second most admired company in 2010 and 2011 as well (see the last year’s list here).
