The (RED) campaign aimed at raising awareness about fighting AIDS in Africa is growing bigger with new holiday additions on Facebook. Now you can kiss your lover, friends or relatives with (RED) lips. It’s not just a picture of a kiss, you hear all the romantic sounds, which can be heard when you give someone a smack. Then, you go and buy (RED) presents.

Designers Fernando and Humberto Campana in cooperation with Lacoste created four limited-edition shirt designs, which are handmade in Brazil by the Coopa Roca Women’s Co-operative. The idea of the initiative was to provide the woman of Rocinha (largest favela in Rio de Janeiro) a nice job with a safe and neat place to work, earn money and still have time to take care after their families.

The globally known international home products retailer IKEA is sure that just $1 can make the life of children better and be enough to start introducing positive changes on a global scale. The social campaign “One dollar is a fortune” was started in 2003 and is aiming at raising money for improvement of children’s education all round the world. To support the project the retailer devised the singing activity Soft Toy Said featuring cute soft toys.

Coca-Cola gives its heart to social campaigns again. Within its Diet Coke’s annual partnership with The Heart Truth campaign the soft drink producer revealed its limited-edition cans with lovely heart graphic. The design is simple and cute – a sketch of a big red heart with a little black man holding it up. The launch is dedicated to American Heart Month, which takes the whole February.

Starting on February 1 America can cast their votes at Pepsi‘s www.refresheverything.com for the refreshing consumer-generated ideas that they believe will make a positive impact on their communities. This is the first of eleven opportunities for the public to win grants from $5,000 up to $250,000 throughout the year. The first voting session ends on February 28 and the ideas that receive the top votes will be announced on Monday, March 1, 2010.

Pepsi Max has released an African-inspired music track called ‘Oh, Africa’, made by R’n’B Grammy nominees artists Akon and Keri Hilson, to help African people in need. The video for the song features global football superstars Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba as well as two-time Grammy-winning the Soweto Gospel Choir. The anthem started to be available to download yesterday and proceeds from the sakes will be donated to organizations supporting underprivileged African youth.
