GapKids and babyGap, announced plans today for a new collection created for Gap by Diane von Furstenberg. The most recognized names in children’s apparel will strengthen its position on the fashion market.
The collection is expected to be available for purchase to customers in March 2012 through GapKids and babyGap stores in almost 30 countries including United States, Canada, UK, Italy, France, China, Japan and Australia as well as online in 75 countries.

With a headquarter in New York City, Diane von Furstenberg is one of the leading names in American fashion that offers four complete collections a year, swimwear and accessories. GapKids and babyGap are two of Gap brand’s strongest performing divisions in North America with growing store chains in many countries including Japan, the UK and the United Arab Emirates. E-commerce division is the brands strong point as well. Last year Gap tried to change its old logo but the audience protested, so the giant brand returned to the old one.
