Strategic design and packaging agency Anthem Worldwide, part of Schawk, Inc., is today announcing the appointment of Jo Boyd as its new Managing Director and Wayne Nguyen as Client Services Director. Both new recruits will play a vital role in implementing a new positioning for Anthem as a brand agency that develops Kinetic brands – brands of irresistible choice that are media agnostic and not beholden to a single media perspective.
Strategic design agency, BrandOpus, has expanded its management team with the appointment of Ken Hommel and Leo Hadden as associated partners. Ken joined BrandOpus as finance director in 2008, and brings 31 years’ design and advertising agency experience to the management team, having previously worked with London agencies Lewis Moberly, Amacom and Conran Design Group.
Mike Poole and Al Mackie will further bolster agency’s creative potential.
Integrated marketing agency, LIDA, has appointed Mike Poole and Al Mackie as head of copy and head of art respectively. Poole and Mackie join from Partners Andrews Aldridge (PAA), where they were the most creatively awarded team in the agency. Over the last year alone, Poole and Mackie received a clutch of DMA Gold Awards, a Campaign Big and an IPA Effectiveness Award. In addition to their awards haul, two of the team’s campaigns featured in Campaign’s Top Ten Direct and Digital in its 2010 Annual.
