To kick off the massive campaign dubbed “See Film Differently,” the brand has collaborated with the DDB agency, which developed two tongue-in-cheek cinema adverts, “Ghostbusters” and “When Harry met Sally,” to air in cinemas on October 25, and also created a cinematography-focused website.

Toyota has launched a cutting-edge film featuring the latest projection-mapping techniques to showcase the unique Hybrid technology now available inside its new Auris. The film, developed by advertising agency glue Isobar, is designed to portray the vehicle’s extraordinary ability to constantly recycle the energy it uses. The 3D projection shows the car transforming; its bodywork peeling back to reveal a glowing blue light which symbolizes the car’s Hybrid energy.
Mazda USA is hitting the road to reach Generation Y consumers, who love indie music and traveling. The brand’s sub-compact model, Mazda2, is sponsoring 32-stop concert tour of Mayer Hawthorne & the County, which is rolling out from October 3 in Fort Lauderdale through November 12 in Los Angeles for audiences of 750-1,500 people. Subaru has launched a little weird still very funny campaign with a lot of “wonderfully conservative” beige cars, which are nothing like the new 2011 Subaru Legacy model, promoted through this marketing push. The new viral campaign, dubbed «2011 Mediocrity,» is telling about a fake company which is producing the most ho-hum vehicles in the world, which are able to blend in with everything around.
Any driver can now find out its true impact on air quality and human health thanks to the launch of a free iPhone App by Volvo, in association with www.cleangreencars.co.uk. The application reveals the toxic emissions of the four pollutants which impact local air quality and human health: carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, hydrocarbons and particulates.
