With the year 2012 coming soon (which may be the last one, according to Mayan predictions), brands get busy making divine calendars for it. Recently, Lavazza unveiled its 20th edition of its calendar, which turned to be a real splash of art and beauty. Another Italian brand Campari is keeping pace with the coffee brand and now launches the 13th calendar, announced in mid-summer. The new piece titled It’s the end of the world, baby! features Hollywood A-lister and supermodel Milla Jovovich, who inspires people to toast the life in any dramatic situations—in the long run, she also may save the world if the old prophecies turn out to be true.

Campari manages to merge beauty, time, fashion, intense taste and colour of the bitter. How? By launching its awesome calendars featuring most stylish celebrities, who can represent the diverse nature of the drink with a touch of exquisiteness and delight. This year, renowned actress, model, signer and fashion designer Milla Jovovich joined the roster of celebrities, who has been featured in the calendar starting 2000, when it was published first (view all of them here).

What happens when two iconic brands come together? Their collaborations usually result in quite predictable products such as extravagant cars (auto + luxury), sneakers (footwear + apparel), bikes (commuter transport means + apparel) and hip bottles (soft drinks + fashion) to name but a few. Following the trend of teaming up for creating something new, SKYY Vodka and Diesel partnered to develop a new product, which is (quite surprisingly) neither jeans nor a cocktail—it is… a new swimsuit capsule collection to be unveiled this week at the beginning of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim (July 14–18, Miami).

Expanding its innovative, award-winning line of vodkas made with all natural ingredients, SKYY® Vodka introduces new SKYY Infusions® Dragon Fruit and SKYY Infusions Blood Orange—the first of their kind available in the U.S. Inspired by exotic locales and current culinary trends, these new infusions blend authentic fruits with the premium distilled vodka, creating two alluring, distinctively different spirits.

This fall, Campari’s SKYY Blue Vodka RTD range got a new ‘outfit,’ designed by the Sydney-based graphic design agency The Saltmine, which won the business in a competitive pitch. The label designs are clear, creating a crisp effect against the brand’s iconic blue glass bottle. They also highlight the product’s USP of being triple filtered and quadruple distilled, producing less sweetness and fizz to appeal to a more unisex target than other RTDs.
