The Dannon Company, Inc. yesterday, April 25, announced the launch of a new campaign to help Californians Live Your Active Culture, to support and motivate families stateswide to enjoy a balanced diet and find fun, physically active ways to bring everyone together. The campaign, which will be in full swing beginning in May, consists of five key components: encouraging families to take a pledge to make healthy food choices and include physical activity; a partnership with soccer legend Mia Hamm; a partnership with and donation to the California State Parks Foundation (CSPF); a Dannon mobile tour; and an ongoing, interactive program that provides families with support and rewards for making healthy choices.

adidas is offering football fans a new way of ‘beeing all in’ by choosing what their favourite athletes will do at the upcoming launch of the next generation of the iconic adidas Predator boot in May. The sports apparel brand kicked off a new campaign on its official page, providing people with a chance to “call the shots” and tell what the World’s best footballers will be doing at the launch event.

Reebok makes it easier to fulfill sport-related resolutions. As part of the ZigTech running shoes promotion, the brand released a clever ‘Promise Keeper’ app which can motivate you to “actually get out and run by using good old fashioned peer pressure.” The new application, developed by Forsman & Bodenfors (Stockholm) for an iPhone and Android, through Facebook and/or Twitter is informing a user’s friends about his or her promises to run and also posts messages, congratulating or lambasting the user depending on if the run is completed or not.

PepsiCo-owned Frito-Lay has kicked off the biggest campaign in the brand’s history by introducing Flavor Kitchen in the very heart of the Big Apple—on Time Square. In course of this week-long event that is slated to last from April 11 until April 15, Frito-Lay will let consumers see what’s cooking in its Flavor Kitchen located in the headquarters in Plano, Texas. Padma Lakshmi, an award-winning TV host, cookbook author and just a terrific cook, will join Frito-Lay executive chef Stephen Kalil and Laura Macintosh, host of the brand’s own “Flavor Kitchen” web series to let the consumers in behind-the-scenes area of snack manufacturing and guide them «from seed to shelf».
