Honest Tea has launched a new humorous campaign with the ‘Refreshingly Honest’ tagline to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to natural ingredients. In its first integrated advertising campaign, which is rolling across multiple media including TVCs, digital video, social media, out-of-home billboards and transit signage as well as on-site activations, the brand owned by Coca-Cola since 2011 focuses on the fact that only organic products are used to produce the cold tea beverage. The message of the campaign, developed by Amalgamated NYC is simple and straight-forward—other than real ingredients just can’t get into the Honest Tea and Honest Ade drink, no matter how hard they try.

After testing its Refreshers energy beverages line across the USA, Starbucks Coffee Company finally takes the new product made from green coffee extract (sourced from unroasted 100% arabica beans) and real fruit juice to the international market. From now on, the Very Berry Hibiscus and Cool Lime flavors of Handcrafted Refreshers beverages will be available to consumers in the US and Canada as well as other 15 countries across the globe. Other formats of the new re-energizing drink— lightly carbonated RTD and VIA instant beverages—have also been launched by Starbucks, but their availability depends on the market.

High-quality coffee and great music always sync. Knowing that, Starbucks creates special-edition music albums to celebrate seasons or occasions, ranging from Charismas and Thanksgiving Day to Chinese New Year or, just like it’s now, summer and Latin culture. The new compilation of songs by modern Latin artists, Café con Musica, is created by Nacional Record and celebrates the new wave in modern Latin music and introduces new names, including Colombian fusion act Aterciopelados, hip hop artist Ana Tijoux and electronic DJs Nortec Collective, to Starbucks fans in the USA.

Can a common drink make a revolution? Lipton Ice Tea believes it can—the tea brand is kicking off the summer ‘Teavolution’ campaign, aimed to reach younger generation of consumers, people aged 18-24, and bring the taste of cold tea to them this hot summer. The new promotion, which will roll across UK cities, Liverpool, Southampton, Swansea and Glasgow, landing in busy locations in these cities froom mid-June through August. The new activation, which is not fronted by the brand’s charming ambassador Hugh Jackman, uses the ‘Surprisingly tasty and refreshing’ strapline on the yellow and orange ‘rebellious’ print with a hand holding a bottle of the drink.

Seattle’s Best Coffee is on the lookout for undiscovered talents in the coffee industry. The Starbucks‘ owned company has teamed up with celebrity chef Jeff Mauro to launched a cost-to-coast search for the most extravagant and imaginative coffee drink. The Red Cup Showdown competition has become part of the state fears, which will be travelling across the US this summer—the new contest, fronted by the chief himself, will stop at five locations. Finally, the grand winner will be determined, who will be handed$10,000 and get the chance to have their coffee drink sold Seattle’s Best Coffee cafés across the country.

Starbucks is raising awareness of its initiative, the Create Jobs for USA Fund, launched in fall 2011, by introducing a line of products, the Indivisible collection, aimed to help generate more money for the battle against unemployment in the USA. The project focuses on providing financial support to Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), which helps create and retain jobs across the country. With every purchase of a product from the new collection, which includes a mug, a tumbler, a blend and a brewed coffee,—the company will donate some money to OFN (the amount will depend on the product).
