Following the example of many alcohol brands, which collaborate with music bands or artists—Jack Daniel’s and Jim Beam to name just a few, Diageo’s whiskey brand Bushmills launches a website featuring visual collaborations electro-funk duo Chromeo and other artists such as Bon Iver and Foy Vance. Their tracks can be heard on the new website, which was created and launched by Pulse Group to strengthen the Irish whiskey brand positioning and make it more appealing to a younger generation of drinkers.

Smirnoff, which last year helped Madonna to find a new dancer in a global search as part of the second edition of its Nightlight Exchange project, is continuing its multi-faceted partnership with the pop-diva with a new fan-oriented project. The iconic vodka brand is offering its fans an access to a collector’s album, a set of remixed tracks from the singer’s much-anticipated  latest album MDNA, which is slated to hit the stores on March 26.

Smirnoff, one of the most ‘artistic’ vodkas in the world, has embarked on a new creative collaboration with two Australian artists, Nanami Cowdroy and Beastman (Brad Eastman), who created two designs for limited edition Smirnoff No. 21 packs. Starting with a black canvas, the two visual art creators developed two awesome interpretations of Smirnoff purity, which will inspire public to create their own art pieces for a digital wall, which will be transformed into the third design.

The Guinness beer brand is encouraging public around the globe to show their love of the Ireland’s national holiday St. Patrick’s Day (which is known and celebrated outside the country as well) and help the brand to set a new Guinness World Record on March 17. It’s not the first time when brands are calling their fans to help them achieve big goals—last year, Oreo gathered most Facebook likes for one post in 24 hours and Lynx ‘hosted’ the most massive simultaneous shower-taking event. Just like the cookies brand, Guinness is also using its digital hubs, the brand’s Facebook page and www.Guinness.com, to gather the most people possible for ‘The Largest St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.’

Alcohol drinks manufacturers always strive to provide its consumers not only with drinks, but also with an opportunity to enjoy various mixes on the go. Such brands as Veuve Clicquot, Perrier-Jouët or Cointreau have already unveiled their own high end bar bags, fridges or bottle coats for those who like to have their drink while travelling. Following in the footsteps of its rival brands, Bombay Sapphire has collaborated with the New York-based design company Barking Irons to create a portable bar in a soft pebbled leather case, which contains all the esentials a professional mixologist may need to prepare a drink.

To spice up the holiday season and remind adult consumers that Christmas is a great time to drink and share Guinness, the popular beer brand launches a festive ‘two colored’ push in the UK. The campaign, which is running under the strapline ‘Celebrate this Christmas with a Guinness’, is built on the idea that this white season the clack colour (which refers to the iconic black pint of Guinness) is a perfect fit for the festive occasion.
