The brand unveils an exciting new initiative with Olympic Champion Alexandre Bilodeau called Unlock Amazing, which aspires to provide two million bowls of oatmeal this year to help feed the more than 860,000 Canadians helped by food banks each month.

Levi’s® kicks off the search for the second-ever ‘Levi’s® Girl,’ the online voice of Levi’s® women. Using its crowdsourcing Facebook app, users are able to submit videos documenting why they should be chosen as the new face and voice for Levi’s women in the digital space. In this specialized six-month assignment, the new ‘Levi’s Girl’ will allow the brand voice for women to be heard and channel the essence of ‘Shape What’s to Come,’ the brand’s global online community where millennial women around the world can connect with peers and mentors to shape their futures.

Electrolux is announcing a new round of its annual global competition, which is created to find and support the emerging talents in the area of the home appliances design. Electrolux Design Lab 2011 is encouraging industrial design students and recent graduates in this area to submit their works for a chance to a six-month paid internship plus prize money and have their developments on the avant garde of the global technical progress. This year, the contestants that have not started working in the field are asked to present solutions revolving around the ‘intelligent mobility’ theme and reflecting the company’s commitment to ecological technologies coupled with perfect design.

Lipton Brisk Iced Tea has launched a new phase of the campaign featuring clay puppet characters, which represent A-list celebrities of the modern culture. This time, the brand has ‘invited’ Ozzy Osbourne and Danny Trejo to ‘star’ in the promotion, which encourages consumers to live their lives in a brisk way. The recruited stars didn’t actually appeare in the videos—instead, they gave their voice and ‘bodies’ to the clay puppet characters, featured in tongue-in-cheek web promotion, which includes short films and a competition on Facebook.

Frito-Lay, a world-renowned producer known for its commitment to offering natural and healthy products on the snacks and chips market, announced that in the coming 2011, it would produce 50% of its products using all-natural ingredients. The brand confirmed that it would exclude any artificial additives, flavours, ingredients, preservatives, and MSG from the recipes of such products as Lay’s, Tostitos, and SunChips.
