Today Google announced that another milestone in forming YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011 has been completed. After a lengthy period of online auditions and public votes professional jury of the contest picked 101 musicians from 30 countries of the world aged between 14 and 49 to be the members of the Youtube Symphony Orchestra 2011.

«We called for auditions from around the world on YouTube and were blown away by the amazing videos we received in response; the YouTube community voted on their favorites and visited the channel in their millions; and now we’re inviting you to join the winning musicians as they begin their creative journey to Sydney», Google team says in their blog.

So, now all of the winners are about to start preparing for their trip to Sydney, Australia where they will perform at the legendary Sydney Opera House.

On the final stage of the project that precedes the great show in Sydney, Google will continue to post videos of orchestra and behind-the-scenes footage, shot at the rehearsals and master classes of the orchestra on YouTube Symphony channel.
