The answer is, they specialize and must know everything about…water, its origin and nuances of its taste. The experts of this field joined their efforts to present a photography book dubbed ‘Realms of Water’ (‘A journey of understanding to the sources of natural mineral water’). It is a joint project by Editions Textuel and Nestlé Waters International who sponsored the initiative.

Along with global coffee chains and manufacturers of household cleaning products, the recognized leaders in the soft drinks industry are also introducing new innovative and state-of-the-art technologies and programs to help give a second life to used packaging. Unilever has released its new Sustainable Living Plan focused on minimizing the environmental impact of the company’s brands. The program will be rolling out for the next 10 years and will help the company produce more sustainable products and as well as reach a set of economical targets. Unilever CEO Paul Polman unveiled the plan in London, Rotterdam, New York and New Delhi at the same time on November 15 and noted that the new plan is to “create preference for our [the company’s] brands.”

General Mills detailed its progress in four environmental sustainability areas and announced new environmental sustainability goals for 2015. The company’s new, expanded environmental sustainability targets include: reducing water usage by 20%, reducing solid waste generation by 50%, reducing energy usage by 20%, and reducing greenhouse gas emission by 20%.
