The auto brand MINI, which has been rolling out its Not Normal campaign with a bunch of odd but smart efforts, has recently made quite a traditional addition to its MINI Lifestyle Collection. The range of branded goods that includes apparel, toys, bicycles, bags, luggage, and other lifestyle accessories, is now broadened with a collection of five sophisticated sport watches. The timepieces are said to “continue the brand’s tradition of functionality and ease of use.”

Diet Coke has revealed the winning design of the second annual Diet Coke Young Designer Challenge, announced in the U.S. in mid-May. The participants were tasked to create a design for a limited-edition T-shirt that would capture Diet Coke’s “Stay Extraordinary” ethos and mirror the style of the brand’s ambassador Taylor Swift. The winning work by Brooklyn-based Julianna Bass features a modern, self-assured woman in “a dramatically flaring red skirt” and a stepped shirt, leaning on the Diet Coke logo, placed vertically.

The Italian fashion house Versace is unveiling a new collection of luxury furniture pieces in its new promotion, rolling across multiple channels. Acclaimed LA-based artists and designers Nikolas and Simon Haas have created a range of lavish Versace Home pieces for those who adore the opulent merge of gold and leather. The brand’s creative partnership has been described on Facebook page and Versace’s website that feature photos from the capsule collection’s launch and hi-res images of the pieces.

WWF annually encourages people around the globe to switch off the lights from 8:30 pm for just one hour. For this year’s Earth Hour initiative, set to culminate on March 23, the international ecological organization has launched a series of programs relevant to the global effort. Along with inviting celebrities to support the initiative, WWF has unveiled a spin-off of its successful “I Will if You Will” effort and a new cross-continental “Earth Hour City Challenge” contest. There is also a standalone design project in the UK, launched by the creative environmental charity Do The Green Thing, to create posters for the upcoming event.
Samsung has unveiled pictures of its new San Jose groundbreaking campus that will help the company expand its U.S. reach and attract more professionals in the tech area. The construction works are slated to begin in July 2013, and the campus designed by NBBJ is expected to be ready in mid-2015. With this move, Samsung once again takes on Apple that is expected to unveil its much-anticipated spacecraft-inspired headquarters by 2016.
