Anthem Worldwide Wins Silver, Bronze Pentawards аnd Award of Excellence

Anthem Worldwide, the brand development division of Schawk, whose integrated global network provides innovative solutions to articulate, unify and manage brand impact to create compelling and consistent brand experiences, announced that it has been recognized with three packaging design awards recognizing creative excellence. Anthem received a Silver Pentaward for its packaging design of Safeway brands’ The Snack Artist and a Bronze Pentaward for Safeway brands’ Refreshe, officially awarded September 29, 2011, in New York City. Additionally, The Snack Artist packaging received a Communications Arts (CA) Award of Excellence.

The Pentawards Worldwide Packaging Design Competition is the only annual major world competition devoted exclusively to package design. Winners are selected by a jury of 12 packaging design professionals from leading branding, marketing and design agencies around the world. Winning designs will be exhibited in Paris in the exclusive and renowned DesignPack Gallery and published by TASCHEN in a book that will be available in 2012.

The CA Design Annual is considered one of the most prestigious juried competitions, and CA’s Award of Excellence is one of the most envied awards in the industry. Winners are selected by a nationally representative panel of distinguished visual communicators. The 2011 panel of nine jurors selected 174 winning projects from 4,291 entries.
