One of the most vital and global problems of the humanity is a recovery of waste. The governments of many countries break their head over the way to clean their territory off the garbage and to lick people into shape. People of art solve this problem in their way finding an unusual use for the ordinary waste.

Coming to the beach you can often see a lot of different garbage in the sand, one part of it is left by people, the other part is carried out of the sea. Everyone should decide how to act in this situation. But an artist from New Delhi decided the problem in a creative way: during a year he scrupulously collected tops of the bottles, and finally, he created a small pavilion of them. More than 75000 plastic tops, which were collected during one year, were used for its creation.

The pavilion got the name “Droppings and the Dam (Damn)”. The construction is primitive enough: all the tops are connected with iron wire. The author of the project is a local conceptional artist Arunkumar H.G. According to him the pavilion reminds him and surrounding persons how high is the level of social consumption.

The photographers also didn’t overlook the problem of waste recovery. A Belgian photographer Fabrice Monteiro captured tons of garbage in Senegal in one of his projects The Prophecy. West-African tribe the members of which are portrayed in the project as scaring fantasy monsters answered for an inspiration for this series of unusual shots. By the way, their costumes are also made of garbage.

In this series of photos Fabrice Monteiro collaborated with a fashion designer Doulsy, as well as Ecofund Company. Expectedly, the message of this project is an aspiration to enlighten the terrible environmental pollution effects, a forthcoming cataclysm of the rickety ecosystem. This group of creative thinkers hopes that they will attract public attention and make the Senegal government take measures to the nature protection.

Famous brands also allot time to solving environmental problems. For instance, Adidas together with the creative ecological organization Parley For The Oceans presented the concept of trainers made of the recycled seines and plastic caught in the sea.

The upper part of the trainers is made of recycled plastic and green fibre from seines, while the other more hard-wearing materials were used for a sole. Meanwhile, it is hard to say whether these trainers will be in mass production, however, Adidas promised that they have already planned to use recyclable materials for their products in the next year.

The field of painting also happened to be useful for eco-art. While some artists begin their creations with sketches and planning, a Portuguese Bordalo II begins to create each of his monstrous animals with going to the abandoned factories and disposal sites and collecting garbage there. Automobile bumpers, tires, doorframes, different plastic things and even entire bicycles, old mopeds or, actually, the sheer autos – everything is afloat. And only in the capable hands of the artist all this stuff turns into animals.

As befits, the modern artist Bordalo II who works with the garbage (there are more and more of them day by day) wants to attract public attention to the pollution of the environment with the help of his works. “The idea is to depict nature itself, in this case animals, out of materials that are responsible for [their] destruction,” – explains the artist. By so doing he hopes to make the pollution of the environment more evident.
