As a partner of the show, Diet Coke will be sharing with fans its “light-hearted approach to fashion”, as the press release says.
Nicola Roberts, who created her own Dainty Doll make-up range will host the show along with British designer Henry Holland, who runs the hugely successful House of Holland, and stylist Lysa Cooper, who has styled some of Rihanna’s most popular outfits.
Styled To Rock that will air over ten weeks is dedicated to the extraordinary talent and creativity in the British fashion scene and it will search for the emerging talents in this area. Rihanna, who also starred in the 2012 Armani campaign, will personally select the best designers who then will create outfits for a string of A-list music artists.
Zoe Howorth, Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “We’re delighted to be announcing our partnership with Sky and the new Styled To Rock show on Sky Living HD this summer. Diet Coke is passionate about fashion and we’re thrilled to be bringing our consumers a new regular style fix, celebrating creativity and championing inspirational young designers. The sponsorship is part of our wider ‘Love It Light’ campaign, showcasing the lighter side to fashion and life to our target audience of young women.”
Earlier this year, Diet Coke rolled out a set of bottles inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s creations. Fashion icon Gaultier became Coke’s creative director in March 2012.
