Heinz Introduces Heinz FIVE Beanz with a Fun Facebook Test

To entertain its UK consumers and introduce Heinz FIVE Beanz, a new product in the Heinz family, the market leader has launched a ‘Your Name On a Bean’ social media campaign.

Facebook fans are offered to take part in a humorous personality test for a chance to win a fun prize—a special commemorative dried bean with their name engraved on it.

The test includes six multiple choice questions to find out what kind of ‘bean’ people are. The engraved dried bean will be drawn among those fans that complete the test. Of course, they’ll receive a bean that matches their personality the most.

The winner is elected every hour from each bean variety. Everyday 120 beans can be won equating to 1,440 beans in total over the campaign runs (until August 30).

Heinz FIVE Beanz is a new can containing five different beans—haricot, kidney, pinto, cannellini and borlotti in the classic Heinz Beanz tomato sauce. The product features a tagline ‘Beanz For Grown Upz’.

The Facebook contest is a part of the all-integrative campaign, which also includes print and outdoor advertising.
