Honda UK is promoting its new CR-V vehicle with Google Street View, encouraging drivers to get into one of the four terrains—snow, mountains, urban or forest,—first in the virtual space and then offline, behind the wheel of their all-new CR-V. To embark on the «Do-More-New» virtual journey, users are asked to enter their postcode and then choose one of the terrains. On doing that, they are directed to one of 12 locations across the UK, which represent land reliefs with different driving conditions.

The «Do-More-New» online experience developed by Collective London as part of Honda’s ongoing European campaign allows to explore the terrains on the screen of your computer or mobile device and it also provides users with basic information about the area such as current conditions and places to stay in. The UK locations include Cumbria’s Hardknott Pass and the Lake District, Jurassic Park at the Dob’s Linn or the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. “See where life takes you in the new CR-V. Join the adventure and explore some of the most historic, beautiful and exciting sites the UK has to offer. Do-More-New with the Honda CR-V,” says the brand.
By entering the postcode, users identify their current location, so Honda is also able to tell how far they are from the destination and how much fuel and emission (compared to previous CR-V) they will save on this journey. It also highlights features of the new Honda CR-V and benefits of driving to the area by this car. In addition, through a box on the page users can proceed to www.honda.co.uk to book a test drive online. All the information unveiled on the page can be saved in a PDF file, which can serve as a guide for those who decide to head to the selected location.
